Emergency situations
If, on a VFR flight, you unintentionally fly from VMC into IMC in a controlled or uncontrolled airspace, you will do the following:
Just keep flying and try to revert to VMC.
Stabilise the flight and keep flying in the original direction. You follow any instructions you may get from the controllers.
You stabilise your flight, inform the controller and request assistance.
Radio broadcast MAY DAY, MAY DAY, MAY DAY is used in the following situation:
When human lives and or aircraft are in danger and when there is a need for immediate attention, assistance or priority.
When the pilot deviated from his/her course and needs the controller´s assistance.
When a technical issue occurs with the aircraft.
In case you do not have enough fuel to safely reach your destination or an alternate airport which of the following transmissions you consider most appropriate:
I AM RUNNING OUT OF FUEL N XXX.
N XXX FUEL ENDURANCE APPROXIMATELY TWENTY MINUTES.
N XXX IS LOW ON FUEL.
When flying in a controlled airspace you lose your radio. What squawk code you will set on your transponder?

If you enter IMC, you will transmit the following message:
OK XXX, SQUAWK, POSITION, ENETERED IMC. NEED ASSISTANCE AND VECTORING TO VMC OR NEAREST AIRPORT.

You make no announcement and keep flying.
F-PYCA pilot receives an instruction to immediately change course and altitude as follows:
F-PYCA pilot has to change heading immediately to 3600 and climb to altitude 4000 feet.
F-PYCA pilot has to change heading immediately to 3600 and climb to altitude 4500 feet.
F-PYCA pilot has to change heading immediately to 3500 and climb to altitude 4000 feet.
